Why I Want to Work in Thailand

I always knew I was going to travel the world after graduation. Cultures around the world have always peaked my curiosity.

In the summer 2008, I travelled alone to Thailand. I loved it. I stayed in Chiang Mai for 2 months. My favorite parts of Thailand were the Muay Thai training, the food, and the people.

I have been teaching Muay Thai in Canada for 2 years, and have 3 years training and competition experience. Going to Thailand and training at one of the authentic gyms was an honorable and humbling experience.

Comparable to the training was Thai Cuisine. From big chain restaurants to hometown street stands, the food selection in Thailand is extensive and tasty.

In Chiang Mai, I resided at a guest house. The owner and local people took great care of me and we developed a very tight bond. They cooked for me, invited me to their social events, and gave me tours of the city. The Thai people all over the country were very welcoming and friendly.

I have travelled to many places including, Cuba, Dominican Republic, California, Las Vegas, Florida, British Columbia, New Brunswick, Quebec, and Prince Edward Island. When comparing the people, food, and scenery, Thailand is my favorite travel destination. It would be an absolute honor to work here.
